Claudius II Gothicus, 268-270. Antoninianus (Silvered bronze, 19 mm, 3.02 g, 6 h), Rome, circa October-November 268. IMP C CLAVD[IVS AV]G Radiate and cuirassed bust of Claudius II to left, holding spear over his shoulder in his right hand; the cuirass decorated with a gorgoneion. Rev. ADVENTVS AVG Claudius II on horseback to left, raising his right hand in salute and holding long scepter in his left. Cohen 4. RIC 13. RIC V online 122 (3 examples recorded). Very rare. Slightly rough and the obverse struck somewhat off center, otherwise, very fine.
